Ariel Winter, best known for playing Alex Dunphy on Modern Family, is now taking on the big screen alongside WWE’s Triple H in The Chaperone, out now! Ariel dishes to J-14 all about the movie from how she relates to her character to working with Triple H!
J-14: What’s your character Sally like?
Ariel Winter: She basically this withdrawn, eclectic skater girl, who is really not popular in school. She’s not very social. She basically was in pain and hurt for years. She’s [now] an outsider.
J-14: Can you relate to that?
Ariel: I really had to dig deep to find that place in my emotional bank to find where Sally was in her life to bring that up. I’m a very happy person, but I like the challenge. I like playing characters that are totally different than myself and that was Sally.
