J-14 Question Answer with Beastly stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer about the movie.
Q: Alex, we heard your makeup took 5 hours everyday! Did that drive you crazy?
A:I think I had this image in my mind that it was just one of those things that would take 30 seconds. Not the case, not the case. But I’m very proud of how it turned out.
Q: Vanessa, how was this role different from your High School Musical character?
A:I feel like with each project you do, you learn something new and practice makes perfect. I think the best acting class you’ll ever get is to actually be in front of the camera. It was a lot of fun, I got to play a new character I haven’t played before!
Q: Vanessa, the movie was filmed in Montreal. What did you do in your free time on set?
A:I love traveling and going to new places and I hadn’t been to Montreal before. We shot there during the summer, which was amazing because the weather was beautiful. I would rent bikes and ride down by the lake and go to jazz festivals.
Q: Alex, in the movie you buy Vanessa’s character, Lindy, romantic gifts. What kind of gifts do you buy for your crushes?
A:Chocolate!
