It seems that Cody Simpson truly is the Australian Justin Bieber, after the 14 year old got egged whilst performing earlier today for a crowd of 1000 manic teens.
Simpson was only three songs into his set at Westfield Miranda when eggs were thrown at him from a balcony above, clearing the singer’s head and landing behind him.
The Dirt has found out that Cody and his management then pleaded with security to perform a fourth song before being whisked off stage.
A signing session that was supposed to follow got cancelled with Cody tweeting, “I’m sorry, the mall is now deemed unsafe. I’m not allowed to do a signing, but thankyou (sic) Sydney for coming out. hopefully see you next time.”
We’re guessing police are already hot on the trail on the suspect… they have enough experience after nabbing the suspect in the Bieber egg incident.
