Rumours have been circling that One Direction will no longer be just “supporting” Big Time Rush in their forthcoming tour, and instead will now be “co-headlining”.
The move comes after the hugely positive response they received during their brief visit to the US a couple of weeks back, with many feeling that perhaps One Direction would be the more popular band on the tour, and so deserving of an equal billing.
The two bands kick off on the “Better With You” tour on Friday 24th February at the Chicago Rosemont Theatre, going on to perform 9 more gigs, before finishing at the New York Radio City Music Hall on Friday March 9th.
With the release of “What Makes You Beautiful” on Valentines Day, America is shortly poised to experience the full impact of ‘One Direction Infection’.
Cel & Aiden caught up with the One Direction boys on their recent tour in Sheffield, and if you missed them on the show last night, you can watch them again below.
Watch 1D try to teach them their (limited) dance moves, witness Louis having a thumb wrestle watch clips and much more…
What Makes You Beautiful Hits 50 Million Views
Louis tweeted yesterday: “Today is a good day and just found out What Makes You Beautiful has over 50,000,000 views on youtube. Massive thank you to everyone ”
It’s no mean feat to reach that number of views, and with the boys amongst the favourites to pick up a Brit Award for their debut single, they’re definitely heading in the right direction to acheive world domination.
“Muuu haa ha haaa” (in our best evil voice, sorry)
