Over the weekend, Niall visited his home in Mullingar, Co Westmeath, Ireland, taking a well-earned chance to let his hair down on a wild night out.
And it seems he’s become particularly fond of 17-year-old Ali McGinley, judging from these photos.
Ali spoke of Niall yesterday, saying: “He genuinely may be one of the nicest men I’ve ever met. We’re close.”
She added: “I can confirm that we’re both happy campers, nothing less nothing more x”.
Speaking with The Sun, a source said:
“Ali and Niall are from the same town but didn’t really know one another until a few months ago. Ali attends school in Alexandra College in Dublin and wouldn’t have known Niall from when they were younger.”
“He thinks she is gorgeous and she is pretty sweet on him too but Niall’s schedule means it would be pretty hard to have a relationship with anyone.”
The pair can be seen in the pics cuddling together, with Niall kissing her on the cheek – they certainly look very comfortable!
News of the couple quickly spread to Twitter, with the usual abuse from crazed fans being aimed at Ali.
Most took it quite well though – maybe we’re all getting used to members of One Direction showing off their latest trophies each week!
