They only just made an appearance on the UK stage this past Saturday, but already Louis is thinking about the next time they will be able to return and perform!
After having a quiet year conquering the world, the boys look set to sing on the X Factor UK and also X Factor USA, the latter in an attempt to boost viewership on what has been a very poor effort so far.
Of 1D’s appearance just days ago, Louis said:
“It’s really weird being back on the X Factor stage.
“Walking through those doors always made us nervous and it kinda feels like you’re back in the competition.
The Tomlinster added:
“Being interviewed by Dermot O’Leary brings all the old nerves back.”
“We would love to come back and perform before Christmas. The X Factor is our home and we love it.”
On Saturday night Louis was keen to see edgy James Arthur win the whole competition, but after seeing the amazeballs 16 year old Ella Henderson perform, he has changed his mind and is now firmly locking in her. He said:
“Ella blew us all away. We thought she was amazing.”
Also a huge congratulations to the boys on their sweep at the teen awards and on getting their 2nd top 5 single, with LWWY debuting at number 3!
They were kept off top spot in the UK by Rihanna and Psy and were similarly pipped at the post in Australia, scoring their first number 2 single down under.
It’s still a great tune and if you haven’t bought it already make sure you do – because platinum sales are far more important than chart positions!
