Demi Lovato: ‘I’ll always support them and I’ll always be happy for them.’
The Jonas Brothers recently reunited and performed three new songs off their new album, which has yet to be released. As it turns out, the brothers have one very famous face that can’t wait to hear their new music.
Demi Lovato has history with the Jonas Brothers, professionally and personally, since she dated Joe Jonas in the past. Demi, Kevin, Joe, and Nick starred in Disney’s Camp Rock movies and Nick Jonas, 20, recently joined Demi on X Factor as a guest mentor. Since Demi and Nick, with the Jonas Brothers, both returned to the studio, she was asked if she was looking forward to new Jonas Brothers music.
“Yeah, I’m really excited! I can’t wait to hear it and support it,” she told Just Jared Jr. “We’ve been through a lot together. We met when I was 14-years-old, so after being friends for so long, it’s just nice to see where we both are at this point in our lives. I’ll always support them and I’ll always be happy for them.”
Demi is not only excited about new music by the Jonas Brothers, she’s excited about her own. When it comes to her own new music, the 20-year-old singer recently said it will be different from the music on her last album, Unbroken.
Along with more mature lyrics and a mature sound,
“Fans can expect a less dance-y pop album,” she told PopSugar”No dubstep for me, I’m good. I miss hearing real instruments on the radio — I want to be able to bring that back to pop radio.”
